The paper presents the definition of parallel diversification and relations between gold market and financial assets market. Gold market is one of the oldest markets and relatively safe. This market offers a wide range of instruments. This article presents the instruments available to the individual or institutional client’s. The conducted study implies that diversification of investment risk based on gold is necessary, because they are weakly correlated with traditional assets.
