Summary
Measuring performance is an important element in the functioning of economic entities. Its importance is growing with the dynamic changes in the economic environment of companies. The purpose of this article is to present some issues in measuring the achievements made by the accounting, which are the objectives of performance measurement system along with their functions, its place in the enterprises information system, the history and construction phases trough which must pass a company that created by measurement give reliable results.
