Summary
Innovations, technology and knowledge are generally recognized as the main factors determining the development of modern business, sectors and economies. They create new opportunities for enterprises and formulate different terms of competition. There are many ways to gain new knowledge and technology. Beside endogenous innovation mechanism, the effects of which can not be deemed satisfactory, exogenous mechanism (for example processes of technology transfer) plays important part. The main aim of this article is to present FDI as one of possible way to create innovativeness and competitiveness of the enterprises.
